/ / / A classic vintage Turkoman rug in hard to find juicy berry shades. The thick intricately designed border gives it a modern feel, and the velvety soft pile is perfect for yoga, floor reading and crawling babies.
/ / / condition: very good vintage condition. With a slightly organic shape and taper on one end from 7’0” to 6’10”, note some color fade in areas as shown in photos. It has been professionally cleaned, restored and the headends secured, ensuring many, many more years of life. I highly recommend using rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles.
