Mildred Crooks 1899-1972, was born in Chicago and is a listed artist whose abstract and expressionist art has been shown in galleries for over 35 years. She first studied in France and has presented her work abroad, throughout galleries in New York, and has been included in past Christie’s Fine Art auctions. We love this large scale, colorful midcentury piece and having female artists represented amongst this collection here in the studio.
