/ / / gorgeous vintage Kurdish rug with earthy colors and unique central medallion- she’s a special beauty! I love thinking about the history of old rugs-where in the world have they been? What homes have they lived in? There is a certain romance and mystery to these hand knotted pieces of art.

/ / / condition: good un-repaired vintage condition. This rug has not yet been professionally washed, but is coming to you in as-is condition straight from the estate. This rug has a more organic shape and tapers from 6’8”x3’8” to 6’6”x3’6”. I highly recommend using a rug pad with grip backing to keep your rug in place and to smooth out any wrinkles from shipping-using a rug pad will also protect your rug from damage, and therefore prolong the life of your rug. But really- get a rug pad! I have handpicked this rug specifically for its rustic, timeworn appeal. It may have other small imperfections- which is part of the charm of these old textiles. I want you to love your rug! Please look at the photos carefully and ask any and all questions before purchasing, as all sales are final.

/ / / pile: low/zero in some places

/ / / weight: medium (rug pad recommended)

/ / / colors: camel, indigo, lake blue, faded brick, salmon, mustard, aged bone, sand, dark chocolate

/ / / The lighting conditions in the Experimental Vintage studio where these photos are taken are as follows: good natural light coming from a wall of large, east-facing windows on a cloudy Portland day. This rug may look darker or brighter in your own space, depending on the natural lighting conditions in your home.

>> this item will ship to you in via FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail, and includes insurance. I am happy to ship this rug internationally-please contact me for a custom shipping quote. <<
