A tranquil stream in dreamy colors painted in watercolor, by Elizabeth Doolittle. This collection of work was purchased directly from her estate here in Portland, OR. Doolittle was an incredibly prolific artist and student of the art. She was known to take many art classes and paint throughout the PNW as well as New Mexico. We have works from her dated and signed ranging from 1963-2007 however many of her loose paper pieces are neither signed nor dated, just left with a bit more mystery. We always love featuring female artists here in the EV studio and Doolittle’s work overall is brining us so much joy…

measures 22” x 15”

watercolor on loose paper

(not signed/marked on back 4-91 likely the date based on her other works)

***Condition notes: this piece is in overall very good vintage condition. Paper shows marks on top outer edges likely where the paper was held by clips while the artist painted. Other wear and imperfections are natural signs of age, including but not limited to: pin holes, tape marks, small tears or rounded edges. We do our very best to include these types of wear in our photographs. Please review photos closely. Items used in photographs such as clips, clipboards and other items are not included or for sale.
